The Ocean Side apartments are the ONLY accommodations on the Western End of Canteras beach. The opera house Auditorio Kraus, where various cultural events like jazz concerts, classical music concerts and the Las Palmas film festival take place, is only 500 metres away from Ocean Side.

At Ocean Side guests can choose apartments for 2, 3, 4 or 5 people. An apartment for five people costs 50 Euro daily and only 330 Euro weekly. An apartment for 2 persons costs 30 Euro per day and 220 Euro per week. You can find detailed information about the prices at the end of this article. ALL of the apartments are equipped with wireless internet access, a fully furnished kitchen, DVD and TV. The accommodations are furnished with IKEA furniture and tastefully put together. Beautiful pictures of surf spots from all over the world are hung on the nicely coloured walls. The apartments are located in a simple, but clean building. The Ocean Side apartments are not a five star housing but due to their location, their tasteful and modern furniture and their technological equipment (DVD and internet) they are absolutely recommendable!

The Las Arenas shopping centre with its own cinema and various international restaurants, stores and boutiques is only 500 metres away from the apartment complex. The advantage of living at the Ocean Side apartments is that guests live in a less touristy area of Canteras beach and therefore can enjoy the nearness of many cheap restaurants, bars, cafes and night clubs.Right next to the apartments, guests can enjoy the recently built Plaza de La Musica or El Rincon, which are decorated with beautiful palm trees. For example, the Plaza de la Musica is a popular meeting spot for young and old people. Bars and clubs opened up in recent years at this plaza and one can party there until the early morning hours. But guests who live in the apartments will not be disturbed by the noise, because the bars are about 500 metres away. The apartments are located in one of the safest and most quiet neighbourhoods of the city. As a special service of Ocean Side customers get picked up directly from the airport. This would be one good reason why one would stay at these apartments since one does not have to worry about the transfer from the airport to the housing. Especially if guests carry heavy luggage this service comes in quite handy. From 8am until midnight the transportation service costs 25 Euro per trip. After midnight the fee increases by 10 Euro.
